Poor Sue had to return home because a change to the flight schedules meant that she would not make it home in time for a meeting at school if she waited until Sunday.

Jenny and I took her down to the airport, while the others continued to ski. I managed to ski for the afternoon, while Jenny had to sit it out and nurse her arm.
We left 24 hours later in the middle of a heavy snowstorm.
